Depression can cause a host of symptoms including no motivation, loss of sleep, sadness, despair, and hopelessness to name just a few. Sometimes these are caused by external circumstances like loss of an important relationship, external stress, family turmoil, or loss of a job. Other times it can be a chemical imbalance. Regardless of the cause, please reach out to me for help. I can help you work through the issues, and teach you coping skills that can diminish feelings of depression and bring you to a happier place in life.
Depression is super common but not as easy to get relief from as it may seem. It is not about being lazy or not trying hard enough. This does not mean we are not responsible for our actions or inaction. I suggest we try to understand what is causing the thought patterns or difficulty with motivation.
