When addressing stress, I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies. This approach helps clients identify the sources of their stress, challenge negative thought patterns, and develop effective coping mechanisms. I also teach relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices to promote resilience and enhance their ability to manage stress in daily life.
Some stressful events are outside of our immediate control and require increased mindfulness practices and stress tolerance. On the other hand, some stress can be released by prioritizing what gives us positive energy and releasing what drains or overwhelms us. It is possible to feel more present and connected to life, even while dealing with stress.
