Low self-esteem refers to having a diminished sense of self-worth. When experiencing low self-esteem, individuals may feel shy or anxious in the presence of others, perceive themselves as incapable, or subject themselves to harsh self-criticism. Some individuals with low self-esteem are aware of their tendency to judge themselves severely, while others hold onto their negative beliefs so strongly that they perceive them as factual. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to challenge these negative beliefs. I start by identifying your core beliefs in order to ultimately develop healthier, more flexible, rules and beliefs about living and yourself.
