I carry a deep passion for working with clients struggling with trauma and complex PTSD. Trauma changes one’s brain and body, often making it extremely difficult to function. In therapy, we will work to re-map your emotions, brain and body, to help you connect with yourself and the present moment. While it takes time, patience and practice, trauma is treatable, and I am very passionate to support you through the process. As an attachment therapist, I believe early trauma often originates within our family of origin, where unmet emotional, physical, or psychological needs may have left lasting imprints. These unmet needs—whether they involve a lack of nurturing, emotional attunement, or consistent support—can deeply affect our sense of security and shape how we view ourselves and others. Over time, these early experiences can contribute to feelings of insecurity, low self-worth, and difficulty forming healthy relationships. By addressing these foundational wounds, we can begin to heal the parts of ourselves that still carry the pain of our early unmet needs and work toward developing a stronger, more secure sense of self. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand that healing is possible, even when it feels out of reach. Symptoms like flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, or emotional numbness can be incredibly challenging, but they're also your mind's way of trying to protect you. In therapy, we work at your pace to process these experiences safely. Together, we can work on processing difficult memories and developing resilience. Call today to begin your journey.
