As a a Holistic Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Transpersonal Coach, Ecotherapist and Shamanic Practitioner/Healer, I have a passion for guiding people in search of deeper meaning and purpose in their lives and supporting the healing needed to live this fully. I have a professional background in Environmental and Outdoor Education and have held a range of leadership positions. My approach is an integrative one which draws on the wisdom from; ancient spiritual traditions, eco-psychology, positive psychology/wellbeing. process-oriented psychology and my leadership experience. I work holistically in honour of the interconnection between mind, body, spirit, soul and the natural world. I also bring the intention and belief that everyone has the capacity to heal, life a full and soul aligned life and have a meaning spiritual practice that aligns for them. I work with my clients from a strengths-based non-pathologizing orientation in honour of their unique soul and soul's journey. I have experience working with children and working in the disability sector.
The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others.

As a mindset and behaviour coach, i am very much forward focussed, which makes me quite unique as a counsellor. If you are suffering with social anxiety, worry, intrusive thoughts, panic, and/or perfectionism, I will work with you to understand the root cause of your anxiety and learn strategies to manage the difficult physical and emotional symptoms that come with anxiety.
If you are having relationship issues, at home, work or with friends, I will work with you to identify the dynamics in relationships and look at what you can do to improve relationships, set boundaries, or re assess the relationships if necessary (please note I do not see couples).
I take a compassionate and practical approach to my counselling, with a focus on helping you improve the relationship you have with yourself, and identify healthier ways of coping, so you can live a more fulfilled and peaceful life.
