Dr. Birte Nachtwey
Registered Psychotherapist, MD, CORST
I have a broad experience of having lived many different lives in different cultures, personal and professional roles and found my own path to the happy and fulfilled life that I live now. It was not always easy, but crisis can be a good chance for metamorphosis and change.
I think I can relate quite well to people who are looking to find their place and path in their lives. Let’s try and find out where you feel stuck, unhappy, what your fears are and where you would like to be heading in the future. There are always other options. Don’t waste your life. It may be short and the only one you get.

The PsychoTRAUMA Clinic (Convergence College of Psychotherapy)
Registered Psychotherapist, Rev, DD (hon), DMin, Various Dips & Certs.
Life Coaching is the latest fad found in training, within counselling/coaching these days. Personally i don't think it is an alliance of those two but rather an alliance between 'coaching and psychotherapy', because in counselling one must not offer advice or make suggestions other than look at options, counsellors are not to take responsibility for clients decision making, so altering a persons life decisions could be quite consequential for the worst, we are told. So for a life change in direction, It needs to come from the client, or it's not true counselling. Coaching is something else and a good coach needs the in depth training in psychotherapy experience and to comprehend the deep workings of the mind to make a significant improvement for the better and the client needs to be aware you have that extra wisdom that comes from the work as a psychotherapist and not as a simple counsellor.

I love coaching because it focuses on creating the life we want and dream of. For me, the best coaching includes an inner journey of self-awareness and growth, not just achieving goals. Often, we dream of something but hold ourselves back due to competing commitments or fear. In my coaching, I address these barriers.
I have to warn you, I am NOT an accountability coach. You are responsible for what you want to achieve, and I am here to provide a space for you to explore your desires, the things you want but don't pursue, and who you truly are.
If you didn't accomplish what you set out to do, I would be curious about what got in the way and work with you to understand and overcome those obstacles. My approach is about fostering curiosity and self-discovery, rather than just holding you accountable.
