Loss and grief is at the heart of all that we seek support with. Any change that we experience is always accompanied by it's friends loss and grief. The work of therapy is change, therefore loss and grief are always somewhere in the room with us. Learning to navigate and live with this can help us approach change in different ways, opening our perspective to how life constantly evolves and adapts as we live it, are we able to do the same?

Grief is a universal human experience—an emotional response many of us will encounter multiple times throughout our lives. The truth is, as humans, loss is inevitable. We will experience losses that result in bereavement and others that don’t; either way, they leave their mark.
Problems can arise in grief when we avoid feeling it. The key to processing grief is allowing ourselves to feel it in order to move forward. Without this, grief can manifest in ways such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and even chronic physical health issues. We all grieve uniquely, and there is no ‘right’ way to do it. I don’t believe grief is a linear process that leads to ‘acceptance,’ ‘closure,’ or ‘moving on.’ Instead, we adapt and do our best to move forward in our own way.
When it comes to grief, I see you, I hear you, and I am here to support you by providing a safe space where you can feel and navigate how you will evolve alongside your grief.
