I work from a neurodivergence-affirming lens and aim to help accommodate your sensory sensitivities, affirm your social preferences, and find your strengths to live a life meaningful to you.
As a late diagnosed Autistic woman, I understand both the difficulties and challenges we face on a daily basis, as well as the autistic joy and connections that can be made. I am very passionate about walking beside autistic people as they navigate the grief and relief that comes with late diagnosis.
I really enjoy helping children and teens learn about themselves, the skills to succeed and how they can flourish in life by making meaningful choices. I can work closely with parents and schools.
Being autistic myself, I have many years of experience communicating with other autistic people in ways that actually work for them. I'm interested in your experiences and challenges and helping you to work through them. I want to help you to be you and have a fulfilling life.
Many of Kate’s clients are on the ASD spectrum, and Kate has a particular interest in working with them. She will in some cases offer an ASD assessment for a fee.
