Anxiety can include several symptoms including feeling nervous or restless, worrying about the future, having difficulty concetrating, having a sense of impending danger, and can include physical symptoms such as sweating and increased heart-rate. Sometimes, anxiety can stem from fear of making a new choice or changing your reality. Anxiety can be a problem when it feels out of proportion to the actual circumstance or becomes difficulty to manage. Therapy helps you explore and evaluate the possible causes of these feelings and provides support as you learn and practice new method of addressing and reducing the anxiety. Some methods include practicing mindfulness, grounding exercises, guided imagery, and journaling.
