Eric Weinstein

Life Coach, Hypnosis and NLP, shamanic healing, Energy Psychology (including "tapping"), Voice Dialogue
I joined a men’s group in 2002, and my life has never been the same. Until then, I’d never thought much about how hard it is for men to seek help – and how men struggle unnecessarily as a result. American society teaches men that they should be able to figure things out on their own, that they should keep things to themselves, and they should “tough it out” when things are hard. Most men only have a friend or two who they might be able to talk with about “real” issues, and that lack of social connection is tragic. Seeking help doesn’t mean a man is weak – it means he’s smart. It means he’s stopped buying into the B.S. that making more money and owning shinier stuff and looking cool and having the right relationship is going to solve his problems and make him happy. In other words, he’s getting real. My therapeutic approach is more about action than talk. Yes, I need to know the experiences that formed you, and clients usually find me to be a non-judgmental listener who makes it safe to unburden themselves. But I want to start empowering you quickly, with tools for mind, body, and spirit that are known for their efficiency and effectiveness. So, whether you’ve never sought coaching or therapy, or have found traditional talk therapy to be less than you want, I think you’ll find a conversation with me a good place to start.

Men’s Issues

Dr. Adam Shafer (Chicago, IL)

Psychologist, Psy. D., M.A.
It is not uncommon for those of us who have been instilled with the expectation that to be vulnerable is, to some degree, a reflection of weakness. However, to be human is to be inherently vulnerable and the best we can do is to accept this within ourselves and others so that we can continue in our journey toward living a fulfilling life.

San Diego, California therapist: Dr. Sven Schild, psychologist
Men’s Issues

Dr. Sven Schild

Psychologist, PhD, SEP, TCC
My approach to working with men's issues involves integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). ACT helps men acknowledge and accept their emotions while committing to actions that align with their core values, fostering psychological flexibility and resilience. EMDR is employed to process and resolve traumatic experiences that may impact self-perception, relationships, and mental health. SE addresses the physiological aspects of stress and trauma, aiding in the release of stored tension and promoting physical and emotional balance. This comprehensive approach supports men in overcoming societal pressures, improving emotional regulation, and enhancing overall well-being.
